Hey there,
Welcome to my new blog. I'm pretty excited about this endeavor because in the 7 years I have worked in medical reception I can honestly say I've seen it all, the good, the bad and the downright ugly. Seriously, you can't make up some of the shit that people do and say when they come to see the doctor. I feel like my head is just booming with stories and great topics for discussion. We receptionists see things from so many different views, the patients, the nurses, the doctors and of course, our own. I will also be writing bits about my family and friends too in here (cause, you know...contrary to what my bosses think, I do have a life outside of work!) Just so you all know, I do tend to swear a lot, and my views are pretty conservative and downright harsh at times so if this offends you, you may want to skip this and search for a different fucking blog (ha! see what I did there!?) I work in this crazy busy doctors office which I commonly refer to as "the circus." I used to work at a pretty normal clinic with a huge company but the pay was kind of crappy and I guess I wanted to see if the grass was really greener on the other side, so I went to an independently owned group.....fyi, grass not greener, perhaps I should have just watered the grass I had...hmm. The circus wooed me with better pay and the promise to "move up in the company" sure....um....yeah. But, it IS work and for this I am grateful. I will also disclose that I am a huge fan of dog and cat memes and could probably sit on Facebook all day just laughing at pictures of animals doing stupid stuff.
Gotta go, more to come soon!
